Contacts to get things DONE!

I notice very little has been done so far in this Google Group, so I'm
going to start this thread for ideas to get the ball moving. I know
I've personally come across several good websites for e-mailing
important people, as well as online petitions.

Anytime any of us come across such a website, PLEASE post it to this
thread with a brief explanation of it. Consider this thread a "call to
action." Please only post websites that are for DIRECT action: ie
online petitions, or websites facilitating contacting legislators,
government officials, heads of corporations, etc. Then, each of us can
go to that link and make those contacts, and share them with our
friends and family. I believe that is one of the most powerful things
this Remote Working Group can do.

One of my favorites! With just a few minutes you can type a vicious e-
mail, and this website will hand deliver it simultaneously to boards
of directors, CEOs, etc of all sorts of financial industry bigwigs.
Let's let Goldman Sacchs, Bank of America, Citibank, etc know EXACTLY
how we feel about them.

This link displays our Missouri senators' contact information, Claire
McCaskill and Roy Blunt. Click on "Web Form" and it'll take you to a
form to submit e-mail to each of them. Remember, they BOTH represent
our entire state in the senate, so be sure to e-mail them both. If
you're not from Missouri, just select your state in the drop down menu
and e-mail your two senators. Remember, mention Occupy and list your
concise demands. Solidarity grants us power.

Avaaz is very active. They put a call out to telephone the NYPD and the Mayor as OWS was being raided this week.

The front page is currently asking for signatures to stop the proposed censorship of the internet. (Freedom of Press!)

They can get very large amounts of signatures quickly :)
