This message is being cross-posted to all groups.

Please come to tonight's GA to assist with an important decision. We are having a snag with our permit for the 30th event. It will be proposed that we send a letter to the Board of Police Comissioners and to the press suggesting compromises in order to encourage the granting of the permit to march in the streets. Direct action has discussed this extensively, and Media has had some discussion on this, as has Treasury. In the interest of time, if we are to send this letter, it has been suggested that we do so quickly. Some concerns have been expressed about needing increased participation in this decision, so we're asking for as many to come as possible.

Thanks!

Tony

Do with this what you will, hopefully it can be constructive for your cause.  I was originally interested in the OWS movement, it seemed fresh and interesting and a potential outlet for my voice.  I thought I had found people with similar concerns, issues, and goals.  That has since changed.  The OWS movement's ambiguous and omni-directional flavor was appealing at first but has now failed to grow up.

The kind of tactics being used are not constructive and therefore you have lost my support.  Civil disobedience, fighting with cops, camping out, etc. has a very "tween" feel about it.  By now the group should have mobilized, organized, selected candidates and pushed an agenda.  Unfortunately the movement has taken on the face of its criticism and just becoming a group of complainers causing more harm than good.

Suffice it to say I will be unsubscribing from this list.

before you unsubscribe, i hope you read this. Kiss My Fat White Ass.

You haven't figured out how to dominate the furries at the okc camp and you're taking your toys home.  The world hasn't changed, it's just added a chapter. the key to mastering occupy is to not re-invent the wheel.  use the very successful tactics of the state and long standing institutions: bend the rules for yourself.   It's lord of the flies for real baby, but the flies can leave the island anytime, so you got to hook them in with your soul.

how you guys like my entry for psycho troller reply? smile. do it, you know you want to. I still have lice from those brown van seats, it's been a month now.  Who's up and doing crimes?  You guys want my christmas letter now? OK.  I passed my EMT class and will sit for exam licensure in a few weeks. Nice.  The family is great and I've been eating a grapefruit every day, it keeps me young.  I passed out my 300th resumé of the year, and look forward to passing out more.  I don't have a cam to show me and my notebook to the world, just a scrap 386 for emails.  Hope you all are truly in your place in the vortex this yuletime, whatever your faith, our prayers all flow into the same river to the ocean of devotion. peace to all the burdened, big-hearted, and burly Campers.  A million thanks, all of you.
