Again, crazy busy at work this week with no time for Occupy stuff. Again, I will scramble tonight to get the agenda together.

I am going to restructure the agenda to put radio/print/PR first amd website/techie stuff last. That way those who are only interested in one or the other do not have to stay for the whole meeting.

We are going to try to have the meeting at camp, in the big tent. If there are issues with light, Internet, etc, we will relocate. The meeting will be Friday, January 20 at 5:30 pm and go for a super long time.

If you have ideas or agenda topics, let me know.

I would recommend taking some time to explain the nature of the movement. "Debunking" what much of the general public feels it represents etc.. Explain that we are an all inclusive, horizontal movement which utilizes a 100% consensus process, and we manage to make it work.. whereas the lunatics on capitol hill can't seem to pass anything with all the conflicting special interest money and partisan politics.

I would also emphasize that we are a non-partisan, political-social movement that at the simplest level is a grassroots effort to restore power back to the people, not institute "socialism" as many people I've encountered here in Kansas would like to believe.

I would go into explaining, extending from the previous broadcast on corporate personhood, the collusion of big business and big government.. Rattle off some examples such as ALEC, Open Society Foundation, The Federal Reserve (IMO the largest collusion of them all, and most harmful) Solyndra, Freddie Mac etc.

Anyhow just some suggestions, we need to let the people know what we stand for and what we stand against, otherwise we will lose a lot of good people, and nobody will join us (I've seen maybe 4 new faces in a couple weeks being at camp)

Keep it up,

Brian G.

And the "Big tent" is an excellent place to have a meeting now, it's
warm, well lit, comfortable, and occupied ;) Oh yea, internets too
(for up to 5 computers I believe)

For anyone who is going to try to get the radio program moving forward, they will have to be at KKFI on Friday evenings.  So the people that would be most relevant to talk to about the radio show will not be available Friday evenings, until around 9pm..
Two of those people (Nickels and I) also deal with the Post.  So Friday evenings won't work for some of the people dealing with the Post either.
UNLESS:  Wait till after the radio people are done at KKFI to deal with radio and print stuff.  The meetings typically have gone late anyway, so even if the radio people don't join till after 9pm, it won't make much difference.  And the meeting could start later, like 7pm, or whatever, thereby allowing everyone to be at home (or whereever) for the early part of the evening.  Start with the techie stuff that not everyone needs to be present for.
