Will your organization assist us by co-sponsoring the Heartland Preimier of the newly released documentary film Brothers on the Line narrated by multiple Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Martin Sheen and featuring an inspiring musical performance by Natalie Merchant scheduled for Saturday, April 21 at UMKC?
Brothers On The Line is a documentary feature exploring the legacy of the Reuther brothers, pioneering labor organizers whose leadership of the United Auto Workers (UAW) transformed the social, economic, and political landscape of a nation.
This event, free to the public, is underwritten by the Greater Kansas City UAW CAP Council and the Kansas State UAW CAP Council. The Jobs Now! Coalition is a co-sponsor.
