Some of the most beautiful designs that are painted on ceramics,even etched into glass, are the vines, fruits and veggies that echo and salute the plants that produced the food that is served on them. Imagine that! Reminding people that we are eating from this living bounty! I don't know if this is helpful, but can you "plant a plate?" Or a bowl? Might be the wrong time of year for a melon vine but there might be something along those lines....? Maria
