OSEA submission to Commission on the Reform of Ontario's Public Service Opportunity for Saving Taxpayer Dollars OSEA recently filed a submission with the Commission on the Reform of Ontario's Public Services highlighting two troubling issues. Firstly that some public agencies are hindering progress and adding cost with managerial ineffectiveness; and secondly, that the proposed long-term energy plan that directs the OPA to draft an Integrated Power Systems Plan represents a serious concern as it creates a set-aside for expensive nuclear power while putting a cap on cheaper conservation, combined heat and power (CHP) and renewable energy. As part of the SI program, OCE will convene its second forum on Feb. 29 in Guelph, ON.
