Planning Session for Activist Training Weekend- Please complete the poll asap! Thanks!

Hello everyone!
The Outreach Committee will be holding another weekend-long event. The
Activist Training Weekend will be held Friday April 20th- 22nd, 2012.
It will differ from the Activist Assembly in January as this one will
focus much more specifically on skill-sharing (e.g. direct action
training, group communication, anti-oppression training, medic
training, communicating with the media and knowing your legal rights
are some ideas that have been proposed thus far). The aim of this
weekend is to increase our capacity in preparation for the resurgence
of Occupy activism that is coming up in the near future with May Day
and a potential physical re-occupation! While it will be entirely
open to anyone, the main purpose is to expand and improve upon the
abilities of those of us who are active in Occupy TO and those that
plan to be active in the spring.
This meeting is a PLANNING SESSION for all those who are interested in
helping plan and execute the Activist Training Weekend and for those
who want to propose ideas for workshops.
Please note: In an effort not to detract further from our dwindling
numbers, none of the proposed date/time options conflict with decision
making GA’s.
