Hey everyone,

I thought that some of you might be interested in this. Hope everyone
is well.

HEY!

DON’T FORGET! The first 1-1 conversation training is TOMORROW
(Saturday, November 12) at 11 am at Central United Methodist church!

And don’t worry, we’ll start on time and end on time to attend the GA
at noon.

Can’t remember what this is all about? The Listening Campaign Working
Group’s goal is to deeply engage a broader range of people to the
Occupy movement AND identify key issues we all care about to bring
some direction and long term goals for the movement in Michigan.

The listening campaign will be built off of relationships and will
help to identify people’s self interest on why they are a part of the
99%. The working group will train people (tomorrow, and on more
planned days!) to do intentional 1 to 1 conversations to BUILD
RELATIONSHIPS and IDENTIFY ISSUES people care about. We will organize
an issues assembly for everyone who has done 1-1s to report their
findings so we can vote on top issues our communities care about.

This will help us gain focus in our actions, build power, strengthen
relationships, and CREATE LASTING CHANGE!!

Because it’s not about any one of us, right? If we really want to have
a movement we have to LISTEN.

See ya tomorrow! Let me know if you have questions!
