If you plan to go to Lansing on Tuesday to fight union-busting and anti-choice legislation, come to this meeting. Are there strategies we can use to stop the legislation from actually going through? What tactics can we use to get the most people to Lansing and actively involved once they are there? Let's brainstorm what we might be able to do on the ground in Lansing. After the meeting, we'll have a banner-and-sign making session, as well. There are lessons to be learned from places in the Midwest like Wis consin and Indiana where Republican controlled governors and state legislature passed anti-worker legislation. What lessons should working people in Michigan take from these battles? 2nd Floor of the Central United Methodist church use the side entrance near the parking lot. *Banner and Sign making for Tuesday after the meeting!
