FIGHT POLICE BRUTALITY IN DETROIT! DEMAND JUSTICE FOR AIYANA JONES!

Join activists from across the city in marching together during the 50th Anniversary Freedom Walk Detroit as we commemorate Martin Luther King's historic march down Woodward Ave and call for justice for Aiyana Jones.

Earlier this week it was announced that the trial of Officer Joseph Weekley ended in a mistrial. But this struggle will not end here.

The murder of Aiyana reveals that the United States continues to be "the greatest purveyor of violence in the world today," as Dr. King asserted almost 50 years ago, and the mistrial shows that Dr. Kings revolutionary call to action remains as relevant today as it was during his own lifetime.

Join us this Saturday as we march together with the 50th Anniversary Freedom Walk as we commemorate Dr. King's vision in our call for justice for Aiyana Jones and all victims of police brutality and terror.

CONTINGENT SPONSORS:
The Family of Aiyana Baxter Jones
The Detroit Coalition Against Police Brutality
The International Socialist Organization

MEET UP: at the corner of Woodward and Forest Ave (next to the Marathon Gas Station) at 8:00am. Look for the "Justice for Aiyana Jones" Banner and other signs.
