Hello to all,

 

As you may already know, there will be an opportunity in November's general election to vote on an initiative to ban the death penalty in CA.

 

The SAFE California Act will replace California’s death penalty with a sentence of life in prison with no chance of parole as the maximum punishment for murder.  See the safecalifornia.org website for more details on the initiative.

 

One near term event in support of this initiative will be held at 6:30 pm, on Tuesday, June 19, at St. Rita's Catholic Church in Valencia Park.   It is part of the Witness to Innocence Tour.  Please check the pdf attachment for event details.  If you have any questions related to the event, please contact no...@safecalifornia.org.

 

Directions to St. Rita's:

From North or South

Take 805 to Imperial Avenue. Go east on Imperial Avenue for about four blocks to Imperial Avenue and Euclid Avenue. The church is located at the intersection of Euclid and Imperial Avenue.

 

From East or West

Take 94 to Euclid Avenue South. Go south on Euclid Avenue for one mile to Euclid and Imperial Avenue. The church is located at the intersection of Euclid and Imperial Avenue.
