Mia booked the UU Church from 2-4 through April. Also, lets try and adopt the oppressed hand symbol used by OB. We can talk about that tomorrow night though.

What do we have for this week and next? Did I miss that?
the UU is available for those weeks as I understand it
approx. $60 per GA

This is awesome! Thanks to everyone that made this happen!
We are NOT committed to the UU yet, not even really for this Sunday
(though they're expecting us). Some initiative was taken in making a
reservation for us for this week in particular because the office
closes on Thursday and the Facilitation meeting is on Friday, so we
didn't get a chance to meet before some action needed to be taken. If
someone has a better proposal at the Facilitation meeting (in a few
hours, 5pm Levity) for where to meet, it'll be fine to tell the UU
that we're not meeting there Sunday after all (it's my impression they
were already given the impression that we weren't 100% sure).
The First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington likes us a lot.
They have an active Occupy group there (Incidentally, I don't
understand why that isn't yet officially a WG!?) that just planned an
awesome teach-in all about their duty and commitment to support social
justice. I think they are willing to be very flexible and supportive
about this.

The Library will let us meet once a month. We could be tricky about
it, but given that we're also (without being tricky, just actually
being autonomous/uncoordinated) reserving space there all the time for
various WG meetings I think we probably shouldn't push our luck.
(Pushing for policy changes at the library is another long-term
option-- I'd love if they could adopt a participatory consensus-based
scheduling process.)
We could consider meeting once a month at the Library and three times
at the UU (or Edmunds or whatever), but I'd be strongly against it
myself. Consistency is worth way more to us than $60. If we get the
GA in a consistent space for the rest of the winter, I'll personally
volunteer to stand out flyering in the cold telling people where they
can find us; I will not of course volunteer to go out in the cold
telling people "Come to our GAs! They're somewhere! Hang out on
online and see if you can find out!" :P

I am not thrilled about a special meeting. I am not thrilled about the
request. Making your case will be difficult. No rushing.
