Hi All,

I haven't heard about a meeting today, so at this point I assume we're not meeting?

Yesterday the Facilitation WG passed along their request for $675 to compensate the UU. That's nine meetings, beginning 1/22 running through 3/18. The UU has requested funds preferably by today. This puts us in a bind, because one funds request was submitted for the entire amount. According to the charter, we would need two successive GA's to approve the request. However I would argue that we've had consent since changing our location to the GA, and for the past several weeks the discussion of our balance has been brought on a weekly basis with no one voicing any objection to paying the balance - though without an explicit call on our part for a temp check if I recall.

I propose accept the request, write up the check, and if possible Stephen, drop it off with the UU today.

Thoughts?

I agree with the argument that the allocation has been on the table
since January, that we have had time to think about it, and has been
discussed. However, I didn't get the application. Whoever has it should
circulate it among members for the Finance group for their signatures.

My understanding about meeting again was amorphous. "Every two weeks",
and "monthly" were offered, but we didn't settle. I think the general
sentiment is "as needed". How about we meet today at City Hall Park, for
long enough to sign the form? Someone needs to show up with it. Who has
the application? Eric Davis and I are the only two people presently
qualified to sign checks. Eric, are you around?

I have the form. I'd be happy to bring it down town at some point today. If we can set up a time,

I also feel like the General Assembly of Burlington previously consented to having our assemblies at the UU and that decision also entailed assuming the responsibility for the cost of the space.

The check of course will still require two signatures. Im available to meet up to sign a check tomorrow any time after noon. Stephen what works for you?

Sorry I was involved by 4:00. Can we connect tomorrow? Please call me so
I can get your number and we can talk directly. Thanks for commitment.
BTW, Eric said he could meet me after noon to sign the check.

Any other Finance people out there to sign the approval?

Hi Eric,
I hope to connect with Thomas tomorrow before noon, but I have no
certainty. Can you call me? Some of my Occupy people seem to have been
scrubbed from my phone, including you. Then we can make arrangements
when the form is ready.
