Charter Changes; funds Request; Changes to our account arrangements.

I have proposed changes to the charter and two or three people have
given approval. Changes are needed and I would like to tell the GA that
they have been reviewed by our working group, so please comment or
approve. We can discuss this Monday, if needed.
I have discussed "Fiscal Sponsorship" with the Peace and Justice Center.
I would like to share what I learned and discuss this option with the
Finance WG.
And there will be a funds request to discuss on Monday.

I am re-sending this request to remind people that their input is
needed. Action cannot be taken until a quorum of the finance WG has
approved the proposed changes, and we do need clarity in our working
contract with the Occupy Burlington Community.

Please expect a meeting of the Finance group on Monday the 16th. If you
can come, please let me know. (2:00 PJC)

If there are changes to the charter it seems to me it would make sense for finance to meet Sunday. Sunday is when most people have access to the movement and we would probably get quorum.

Hey Finance WG Folk,

 

I agreed with the changes to the charter at the Finances WG meeting a few weeks ago, so it's (still) fine by me.

 

However, I am going to be stepping back from an active role in the Finances WG in order to focus more on Labor Solidarity and Post Office work.
