June's 2nd Saturday leafleting

Hi All,

Last Saturday we had the first of our OCCUPY Boulder 2nd Saturdays of leafleting in the morning followed by a potluck picnic at Eben Fine Park and it was a big success.

Eleven people worked on distributing close to 1,000 leaflets to 8 apartment complexes & mobile home parks in about 2 hours! Thanks to everyone who was a part of this!

It was hard work, but all agreed it was worth the effort.

If you didn’t make it this time you missed a great morning of taking the OCCUPY message out to Boulder’s neighborhoods as well as the fun potluck picnic afterwards.

Hopefully we will see you for the next OCCUPY Boulder 2nd Saturday on July the 14th when we take our message out there again. Imagine how much more we could do if we had 15 or 20 people next time!

Even if you missed it last Saturday, you can still help out with this months leaflet!

If you would like to distribute some leaflets in your neighborhood or go to an apartment complex/mobile home park from our list (many are less than 100 units),

just e-mail or post a message on the Occupy Boulder Outreach Google group, and we will get some leaflets to you.

There are also 3 other important ways you can help out on this project.

1) Printing: Do you have a printer at home or access to a copy machine? If so, you can be a big help by printing 100 or 200 copies of our monthly leaflets.

This would help us keep printing costs as low as possible!

2) Donate Some Cash $$: This would also help to pay for printing cartridges & paper for this outreach project, as well as help finance other OCCUPY events & activities.

3) MARK YOUR CALENDAR for the 2nd Saturday of July (and Aug, Sept, Oct ......) and join us for morning leafleting and an afternoon potluck picnic.

As usual, we are always open to suggestions for future leaflets (fracking, foreclosures, health care, war, taxes, etc. ????).
