Just wanted to give you a short update on Outreach logistics.
1) Mapping: I’ve now mapped 3,220 apartment units in 27 locations and 1,652
mobile home units in 7 locations.
That’s a total of almost 5,000 units (4,872) , which sounds like a hell of
a lot to me! I think we should stick with these for the first time flyering and
see how things go.
Maybe we’ll decide to do less, maybe more? Depends on number of volunteers.

2) Flyer: I’ve attached a draft of a flyer on Move Your Money. The language
is all from the MoveYourMoney.info website with some minor editing to make it
fit on one side of a flyer.
It’s pretty good language but I can’t help feeling that it lacks a little
something?? What do you all think?
The second side is still open. I’ve thought about one on renter/mobile home
park rights or maybe the price of gas/speculation/big oil/alt energy.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.
3) Date for first leafletting: I mentioned Sat May 26th as the first date,
but now think it might be best to put it off until June 2nd or 9th, to allow a
little more time for discussion on the leaflet and to recruit more volunteers. I do think though, that we should agree on
a specific date this Sat at the GA so people can plan for that day and we can
avoid any potential conflicts.
