Mayor Bianchi,

 

I am writing on behalf of Occupy Berkshires to thank the City of Pittsfield for the use of Park Square for our May Day

Peaceful Demonstration for Social and Economic Justice. It's a great venue for such an event.

 

During the planning and permitting of the event we found everyone with whom we came in contact to be receptive and helpful.

 

Please pass this sentiment on to the various City departments.

Kudos to Arnold and the May Day group in planning and keeping  the action on course, and all of you who brightened and enlivened the day with generosity and spirit. I hardly noticed the weather!

If it's not on the GA agenda, btw, can the Mad Day action group have a brief review of the planning and event soon.
