WARNO: 02NOV March in solidarity for Scott Olsen and "general strike"

Hello all,
Hope all is well with you.

As you may or may not have heard, an Iraq and Afghanistan Veteran for
Peace and 2 time Iraq vet, Scott Olsen was critically injured when the
Oakland, CA police raided the Occupy camp with excessive force (http://
www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/oct/26/scott-olsen-occupy-oakland-review?newsfeed=true)

As a result, Occupy Movements across the country will conduct an
action (TBD) and General Strike on or about 02NOV11 in solidarity with
Scott and the Occupy Oakland movement.

Other than the intent to conduct an action on that day nothing else is
concrete.

I just wanted to give you as much heads up as I could so you could
clear your calendars and make plans if you'd like to attend.

The specifics of the action are currently being discussed. I'll let
you know more as I know more. You can keep checking the action WG or
the FB page to see the developments in real time or just wait for me
to send another email as stuff solidifies.

No further info at this time.
