PennDOT District 11 is announcing lane restrictions on Route 51 (Saw Mill Run Boulevard) in Allegheny County, will occur Saturday, June 18, weather permitting.
Single-lane traffic will occur in each direction on Route 51 between Edgebrook Avenue and Whited Street from 3 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday. Crews from the Lane Construction Corporation will place an epoxy surface treatment. In case of inclement weather, Sunday, June 19 will be used as a make-up day.
The overall $15.9 million project includes milling and resurfacing, signal improvements, drainage work, intersection and curb improvements, bridge repairs, guiderail upgrades, pavement markings and other miscellaneous construction activities from Lebanon Church Road (Route 2040) to the Liberty Tunnel.
