Good morning,

Thank you for your efforts to reconsider the proposed plans for the school system. I would like to suggest one other option that blends plans 3a and 4 into something possibly more optimal.

1. Build new FPG ES adjacent to Morris Grove ES
2. Move FPG ES students to the new ES
3. Swing Phillips MS students into FPG
4. Rebuild Phillips MS on existing Phillips MS site
5. Use extra funds to renovate Culbreth (and potentially other projects)
6. Phillips MS students move into new Phillips MS
7. Take FPG offline

The infrastructure (ball fields etc) that serve Phillips could still be used at the new MS and all that expensive landscaping would not have to be redone.

There would be minimal student movement and the students moving would be getting a new school, and are of a good age to handle temporary relocation.

Funds would remain for other projects across the district (like Culbreth).

No student displacement.

No disruption of either of the two largest walk-zones of Estes Hills ES and McDougle.

No need to maintain FPG for a long time.

Replacement of Phillips allows for quicker replacement of elementary schools in next bond cycle without damaging the community fabric in the meantime.

Minimizes use of additional bus routes.

Thank you for your consideration,
Bronwyn Charlton
