History of Theft in my Yard

  Someone or several people were in my yard again today from your fiber project.  I told you all that anyone coming back to work in my yard would be reported if they did not come to my door and ask permission.  No one did come to my door.  Do not lie and say they did because I am a very light sleeper and would hear them.

  I have had numerous people come into my yard taking advantage of my disabilty and steal me blind.  The police do not seem to look out for the disabled and protect us.  I am so burnt out that I no longer hire yardwork. 

  I have had over $3,000 in quartz stone taken in 2024.  People come in broad daylight or in dead of night.  Many former yard workers have been found to be likely subjects.  One was caught because someone I knew had their address and so brought it back.  They will steal out of my car if left unlocked. Only one crew from another county even knew I had had the stones and where.  By the time I found it missing, it was too late to report it.  I didn't realize it's worth until it became missing.  But those guys knew its worth and where it was.

  So you can imagine my fury when workers who cannot speak to me and the police protecting them won't allow me to speak to them.  4 foreign workers working in my yard have no courtesy to knock on my door last week and today and inform me they will making extremely loud noise and digging up my yard.  It says they will do so in the flyer found in the area.  No one supervising them came either.  I got the traffic safety crew to get someone to come here.  The police did nothing there.

  It is obvious that no one speaks English.  You are distancing yourself and hiring subcontractors and more subcontractors to do the work.  The hell with the residents and the disruptions to the utilities they cause.  They don't report disruptions because they can't speak the language.  The supervisor for S&N Infrastructure lied to me to cover himself.

  After the way I was treated by one officer last week, there is no point in calling 911.  He wanted internet high speed so didn't care they I didn't need or want it.  They defended the workers at every turn.  And say the Commissioners have their full backing in tearing up my yard.  The police officer told me the Commissioners were behind this whole thing.  And I don't appreciate the officer calling me by my first name.  And lying to me.

  I am disgusted with my representatives.  Why can't you do the right thing and stop allowing these workers alone in our yards with no accountability.  4 illegals working alone in my yard, working in street clothes.  No phone numbers on any of the trucks or vehicles.  One worker pointed to all 4 workers and said "no English".  The water disrupted last week took out a very large area from my yard's interruption.  I sent the water outage  map to Mr. Reynolds.  I have had no feedback other than one Commissioner initially, and Mr. Reynolds saying he picked up trash in my yard, but still there was trash in the street from the workers today.  You are all sheepish and just expect commendations for providing internet service to the needy.  But having utility disruptions because you won't hire Americans takes away from the good works.

  But you allowed them back in my yard today.  I object to that and have history of being ripped off that the police officer doesn't have.  He was not interested in a word I said.
