Making lifestyle changes to prevent Type 2 diabetes can be hard…if you don’t have encouragement and support. That’s where a friendly, well-trained lifestyle coach can help!

Meet Greg Schiltz, a registered dietician with the Orange County Health Department. Greg uses the National Diabetes Prevention Program curriculum to teach the class. And he has the experience and training to help you:
  • Learn the facts about healthy eating and physical activity and explain how these behaviors will help reduce your risk for type 2 diabetes
  • Set and meet  your health goals
  • Build relationships with other participants
  • Work as a group to meet challenges
If you want to reduce your chances of developing Type 2 diabetes, contact Greg (gsch...@orangecountync.gov or 919-245-2481). The next class begins September 30!
