Dear Orange County Board of County Commissioners,
I am writing to express my gratitude for your support of Orange County Arts Commission and their Artist Project Grant. This grant funded my project, the Bad Art Market (BAM!) at Eno Arts Mill in October 2023.
With support from the grant, BAM! created an inclusive art market of 15 local artists showcasing their work. Each artist received compensation for vending, and I provided essential amenities like tables, chairs, and refreshments. Over 100 attendees joined us.
BAM! was more than an art market; it was a celebration of creativity and inclusivity. It provided a platform for artists facing financial barriers and those new to public vending.
I am immensely grateful for OCAC's support in bringing this project to life. Their commitment to cultural vibrancy and accessibility in Orange County is truly commendable.
