Dear Commissioners,

I am writing in support of and with deep gratitude for the Orange County Animal Shelter, and request you make it a funding priority.  Having lost my dog a year ago - she was a OCAS "rescue" dog, who was treated for and survived heartworm, that I adopted - I became a volunteer, helping with dog walking and enrichment, and with daily operations such as laundry, dishes, sorting donations, etc.  The quality of care the animals receive at OCAS is exceptional and a model for other animal shelters. I wish to commend the dedicated staff, the techs and vets, animal rescue officers, and the volunteers - they are truly amazing to work with, and deserving of all the support, in every way, that Orange County can give.  

Please consider my request to generously support our Orange County Animal Shelter and the people who make it the model shelter that it is.
