To whom it may concern:

I am reaching out to urge you to continue funding for Piedmont Food Processing Center in Hillsborough. We are a family owned and operated food truck business that works out of Piedmont. We have been in business for three years. 

Our business was born out of necessity when we lost our jobs after the restaurant we worked with for years was closed due to Covid. PFAP was and continues to be the perfect place for us to have landed. The services provided are perfect for our small business. It has provided the tools we need to grow our business and create opportunity for our families.  We are grateful for this partnership. 

The Orange County health department works with us through this facility to help us maintain high standards of food safety. Having this relationship with the county is vital to our success. 

Please continue the funding for this facility. We and all the others who work out of this space will suffer huge setbacks without the ability to use this space. We urge you to consider the vendors who work out of PFAP and the customers each of us serve.
