For those of you who are attending--we are looking forward to our outdoor gathering under a shelter at the Jordan Lake State Park Seaforth Area to celebrate Jordan Lake One Water (JLOW)!
We will be celebrating:
- The completion and submission of a JLOW vision and recommendations document
- The kick-off of Phase 2
In addition to thanking you for the extraordinary level of support and commitment from all of the many stakeholders, we will be outlining the progress we’ve made through our workgroups and advisory committee, and will be discussing the next steps for JLOW and how you can support this innovative triple-bottom-line approach to caring for the watershed and the communities that makeup the watershed.
We are asking people to wear your own masks at this event. Thank you for your assistance and participation as we all work together to try to reduce the community spread of the delta variant of the Corona virus. Feel free to bring your own camp chair if you wish. This may allow you to space out and social distance more.

2:30 – The Elected Official Boat Tour is Reservation Only – If you have not gotten a confirmation email then you are not registered for the boat tour. If you are in doubt or would like a confirmation please email or call Emily Barrett. Many thanks!
Elected Official Environmental Awareness Pontoon Boat Tour by Clean Jordan Lake, Instructions for registering will be in a forthcoming email to your elected officials and/or Town Clerk staff who organize scheduling for elected officials. Registration will be limited by the number of seats on the boats. (I’d reserve until 4:30PM just to be safe, if you are an elected official going on the boat tour.)(If you are an elected official who would like to go on the boat tour please email Emily Barrett at ebar...@tjcog.org to register. We have only 1 seat left on the boat. Thank you.)

BOAT TOUR: We had to limit the boat tour participants for the elected official to 10 attendees due to safety issues. If you did not get a confirmation email from me confirming your registration then you should plan on the meeting ending at 2:00, and no boat tour. We will be taking names of folks who want to go on a future Environmental Awareness Boat Tour for Elected Officials trip. Registrants for the boat tour should wear flat shoes. Thank you.
