My ADT camera picked up Tonya Campbell screaming on 11/26/2025 at 3:44 pm. I was leaving my apartment to retrieve my casserole dish from the Fitness Room on the 2nd floor where we had a Thanksgiving Lunch.
As I headed out of the Fitness Room holding my casserole dish, Tonya Campbell and Denise Paul ran over and blocked the door and wouldn't let me leave. Tonya lunged at me, screaming like this, up close in my face. Denise Paul had her phone up near me, video recording.
I remained calm, and said "Pardon me, May I get through" several times. They finally let me leave. There were witnesses.
I filed a police report. On Thursday, December 4th, 2025, Criminal Charges were filed against the 2 black female tenants.
On December 8th, I saw Tonya Campbell in the Eno Haven office as I walked by.
On Tuesday, December 9th, 2025, FIVE DAYS after the Criminal Charges, Cherrell Thomas placed a Notice of Non-Renewal of Lease on my door. With outrageous, false and defamatory accusations against me.
RETALIATION for exercising my rights under State and Federal Law, which is a Violation of the Federal Fair Housing Act.
THIS person screaming ALSO went after the frail 85 year old who had visible dementia. My daughter told me "Mom, they're going to come after you for helping Leola". And they DID. After 7 years and 3 months of living at Eno Haven Apartments.
THIS person was allowed to scream like this at tenants. On a regular basis! And outside, all hours of the day AND NIGHT, screaming "Mother F-ers" and other obscenities. While publicly intoxicated, and bragging that "CHERRELL said I could drink ANYWHERE I WANT to! I just have to have it in a container."
Unequal treatment. No-one else has ever been permitted to do this. Why is Tonya Campbell?
Is this Continuum of Care? Or just Section 8 that ALL Agencies and RESOURCES cater to?
While Leola Villines and now ME, receive Notice of Non-Renewal of Lease Letters with outrageous, false and defamatory accusations/allegations as "Good Cause" to terminate our lease.
This is Eno Haven Apartments. Affordable Housing, but not Fair Housing.
