Community Relations Director kpre...@orangecountync.gov (office) 919.245.2322 Orange County Announces Good Friday Closings Orange County administrative offices will be closed on Friday, April 3, in observance of the Good Friday holiday. Some services normally open to the public will also be closed on Sunday, April 5. Please note the following adjustments to county operations. Solid Waste Management: Friday, April 3: No recycling collection. Friday recycling will be collected on Saturday, April 4. The Landfill/Disposal Centers, Waste and Recycling Centers, and Administrative Office will be closed. Saturday, April 4: Friday recycling will be collected on Saturday, April 4. The Landfill/Disposal Centers and Waste and Recycling Centers will be open normal hours. The Administrative Office will be closed. Sunday, April 5: No recycling collection. The Landfill/Disposal Centers, Waste and Recycling Centers, and Administrative Office will be closed. Library: All locations will be closed on Friday and Sunday, but will operate as normal on Saturday, April 4. Animal Services: Will be closed on Friday, April 3. They will be open on Saturday, April 4, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. They are always closed on Sundays. They ask that, as always, people call 9-1-1 if they have an animal-related emergency when they are closed, such as animal bites to humans or exposure to rabies.
