Orange County Arts Commission Artist Grant- Thank you!

Dear Orange County Board of County Commissioners,  

As an Orange County resident, I feel very fortunate to have such a vibrant and supportive arts environment in my community. I try to give back to that community as much as possible to keep music alive for people of all ages, and this year I was able to reach that goal with the help of the Orange County Arts Commission Artist Grant. The grant made possible the creation of the Eno Flute Ensemble--a community-based flute choir comprised of members from Orange, Chatham, and Durham counties and performing for Orange County audiences. In addition to being a fun endeavor for me professionally, this group gave amateur flutists the opportunity to perform in a unique ensemble, meet other players from around the area, learn repertoire that they would not have otherwise, and build interest--in the flute and in supporting the arts in general--among our audience members. 

Thank you so much for your support of the Artist Grant and of our arts community in general!
