Dear Janice Tyler:
I am a 69 year old female with disabilities, who qualifies for the aforementioned Monthly Food Box.
My monthly Food Box had been delivered for several years now. Probably after my stroke July 4th, 2021.
I was given a very difficult time when I asked to have my box delivered, and they finally relented.
Last month, Shenae McPherson called and said because I have "A CAR!" that I was "No longer eligible" for delivery.
I was in the emergency room December 17th, 2025 with diagnosis of "Stroke" and "Brain Injury".
When Shenae finally agreed to deliver my box, as a ONE TIME COURTESY, the police officer, when I answered the door, saw that I was not well. He was very kind.
Shenae McPherson, however, stood there outside of my door and LAUGHED.
Recovery from the recent stroke/brain injury is exhausting and has been very difficult.
I sleep excessively, including deep, coma-like sleep, and have severe head pain (also a symptoms of my rare brain conditions). I can not predict when my brain decides that I need to sleep; my brain decides, regardless of whether I agree to its decision or not. In addition to taking strong medications.
So I do not/am not always able to answer my door.
My neighbor across from me, Beth Greene in Unit 215, agreed to be my Proxy.
Please continue to have my Food Box delivered.
Shenae McPherson made assumptions about me, and arbitrarily decided that I was "No longer eligible" to have my Food Box delivered.
