Good morning,

During last week's Board Meeting, many of you expressed concern around House Bill 821 which would create new land use regulations and deny local government authority on a handful of development actions (examples: impact fees, traffic impact analysis). We have been informed that it is highly unlikely that this bill will move forward or be included in other bills that will pass. It is not viewed positively by House leadership. The League of Municipalities continues to monitor the bill in case this does change.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
