Please reject Forestar's Rezoning requesy

Dear Commissioners

I am hoping that you reject the rezoning proposal Forestar has made for the Rigsbee property. 

Doubling the number of homes there only doubles the developers profits at the expense of current residents by threatening groundwater supplies and added traffic to an already dangerous and deadly stretch of Route 54.

They have not presented any compelling reason that Orange County's thoughtful zoning should be subverted for their gain.

On behalf of the Board, you know by now that the rezoning was approved 5:2 with Commissioners McKee and Hamilton dissenting. I did not have time to read your email prior to the 7:00 meeting, but hopefully others did.
