Dear County Commissioners,

Here is an opportunity to learn about the depth of the PFAS and PFOA problems that have been with us for quite a long time and are just now coming to light. I hope you will consider coming to the talk by an SELC associate attorney.

Join us for an informative presentation on Forever Chemicals with Hannah Nelson, Associate Attorney with the Southern Environmental Law Center. Attorney Nelson specializes in cases involving water and coastal issues, including cases involving industrial chemical pollution.

November 10^th 6-7pm, Chapel Hill Public Library

Come learn about PFAS in NC waters (what they are, how we are exposed, and health advisory levels), work being done by the SELC and EPA, community resources for home testing, filtration and more. Ample time for questions, answers and discussions included.

Masks are encouraged but optional. Seating will allow for social distancing. We look forward to seeing everyone on November 10^th!
