Ms. Montross,

On behalf of the BOCC, thank you for the invitation.  Each commissioner will rsvp on their own. I have a conflict and will miss the fun.

Best,

Good afternoon –

American Airlines is proud to be North Carolina’s hometown airline with 18,500 employees state-wide, the most seats and service to NC airports, a $30 billion economic impact from our hub at CLT, and a mission to inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.  On behalf of American Airlines Group and our wholly-owned regional affiliate Piedmont Airlines, I am pleased to extend an invitation for you to a VIP reception with Aero Xperience on Thursday, October 23 from 5 – 6 PM at Barwell Road Community Center (5857 Barwell Park Drive, Raleigh) leading up to an evening of action-packed aviation experiences and career exploration for young people.

Beginning at 6 PM, middle and high school students from across the region will have access to flight simulators, virtual reality, drones, and other interactive experiences with aviation professionals.  Plus, Elizabeth City State University – North Carolina’s only four-year aviation undergraduate program – will be on-site to answer questions and provide college resources.

If you are able, please consider joining us for a VIP reception from 5 – 6 PM or come by to see the program inspire the next generation of aviators in the Triangle.

RSVP here: VIP Reception Registration.  More event information here: Aero Xperience.

Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me if I can be a resource for you with American Airlines in North Carolina.

Thanks so much for your consideration of this invitation!

All the Best,

Tracy Montross
