We haven't seen a significant wage increase since the Hunt Administration.  Our Personal Purchasing Power (PPP) continues to decline, and has over the past 30 yrs.  We are NOT keeping pace with a normal annual 2% inflation, and now we're looking at 7-8 % inflation... maybe more.  We are with your children for more waking hours than their parents. We provide a great education in a relatively safe place.  Please approve (at minimum) a Cost of Living Adjustment (COLA) today and every year in the future!  We are losing our best teachers; the same teachers that made ECHHS the #1 TRUE public school in this state.

Also, PLEASE keep our SROs in the building.  We need the safety they provide. Officer Steve Sherman showed incredible patience dealing with a fight in which 6 faculty/staff were attempting to break-up w/out much success.  He was instrumental in stopping the fight without anyone getting hurt.  We need SROs in our halls!
