To Whom It May Concern;
My name is Rosa V Pellot Cruz. I am single mother, a grandmother, and my family and I are currently homeless. For months I have reached out to the limited resources available to with no avail. I am one of many families in Florida facing a housing crisis. So many of us are continously trying to make ends meet working or with there limited income but is impossible with the rent hike and landlords asking for so much money. And there is limited space for affordable housing so how are we to survive? I've been able to afford a hotel for a few months, but my funds are now gone. My family and I have no where to go there is no shelter space and none that would allow my emotional support animals. This state offers no resources for hotel vouchers so the only other place is the street. And by the look of it soon the streets of Orlando will be filled with homeless families growing through hardships having no where to turn. Please we all need help. I need help I have been reaching out to anyone and everyone for months and no one can help. And I'm sure I'm not the only one feeling this stress and frustration. What am I supposed to do as a parent when my own state is faling me and causing me to fail my love ones?? Please someone heary pleas.
