Hi Hope Friend,
This morning, we welcomed Hope Renovations' Cohort #5, pictured below (along with Sarah and Sandy!). We are so excited to watch these incredible folks build their futures over the next 10 weeks.
When I sent out an email last week asking for your help meeting our $5,000 Building Hope 2021 fundraising goal, I explained that we started this drive to help bridge the gap created when our state grant funding for the Trades Training Program expired in June.
But I NEVER expected the kind of support we received! As of this afternoon, our total - hold onto your hardhats - is $12,190!

We've received donations from coast to coast, from old friends and new, from Hope Sustainers (monthly donors) and first-time givers. We met our $2,500 match goal from our generous anonymous donor! And we've had contributions come in that were made in honor of your friends, family, and even a touching $1,000 donation pledged in honor of Marine Sgt. Nicole Gee and Marine Sgt. Johanny Rosario Pichardo, who lost their lives in Afghanistan.

Today was supposed to be the last day of the fundraiser. But, in the spirit of Hope, we are extending our fundraiser until the end of this week with a new stretch goal of $15,000! If we are able to hit that goal, then you - our Hope Givers - will have raised enough money to fully fund all expenses for Cohort #5!
Please consider a gift - no matter the size! Your support helps us cover things like tools, materials, supplies, PPE, curriculum, expenses, OSHA-10 training, First Aid/CPR certification, travel costs, even transportation stipends for those who need them.
If we can raise $3,000 more, this will be the Cohort that YOU built!
A million thanks for all the support you have given Hope Renovations so far. We continue to be absolutely blown away by your passion for the work we're doing. We are changing lives, and we couldn't do it without you.
