I understand your desire to protect the County's reputation. However, I believe there are serious concerns within the department that warrant immediate attention and objective review. The censorship must stop if names are not being mentioned. If that is an issue, then why was Ms. Hernandez's email allowed to be posted? I personally have no issues with her email being posted, even with my name listed. I believe she has that right, as I do myself. 

My intent is not to attack individuals, but to ensure a workplace that is professional, respectful, and free from retaliation, harassment, and hostility. Over time, I have observed and documented issues that I believe have negatively impacted employees and the overall work environment.

I encourage County leadership to conduct an independent review of the concerns that have been raised and to evaluate all relevant records, reports, and employee feedback. Transparency and accountability are essential to restoring trust and ensuring that employees feel safe bringing forward concerns without fear of retaliation. 

My focus remains on improving workplace conditions and helping create an environment where all staff members are treated fairly and respectfully. I believe the County has an opportunity to address these issues proactively and demonstrate its commitment to ethical leadership and a healthy workplace culture.
