With over 145 members, NCAPCS is the leading voice for North Carolina's charter school community.

North Carolina’s charter schools led the way in educational innovation through the pandemic, but the future of charter schools is still at risk.

This is not the time to shortchange public education. And it is certainly not the time to shortchange charter schools. Contact your representative to make sure they don’t forget what’s at stake. Tell them to protect funding for the federal Charter Schools Program Grant (CSP).

North Carolina's CSP Grant, the NC ACCESS Grant, is funded at $36.6 million, and so far, it has increased access for educationally-disadvantaged students to 42 public charter schools in our state.

There is no one left but us to protect public school options that are critical to our students. North Carolina families need options, North Carolina schools need support, and North Carolina students need us.

 Act now!

Yours for Charter Success,

Executive Director
