Fully fund the continuation budget, and Pay Go (to cover design and planning for school bond projects)

Thank you for all you do to serve our community. As a mother of 2 children in the CHCCS system I urge you to do what is right by our children, our educators and our community and fully fund the continuation budget and pay go. We moved here specifically for the school system and it has been disheartening to see the community have to fight so hard for funding.

Operating:

- OP-B05A Bedford and Fowler amendment to increase education funding 5.5%

Funds our continuation request

- OPB05B Hamilton amendment to increase education funding 4.5%

Funds our continuation request 

CIP [Capital Investment Plan]:

- CIP-B01 Fowler amendment to increase pay-go by $3m

We need pay go to ensure we have funds to cover the design costs, so bond funds can cover the construction costs

We DO NOT support 

Any amendments that cut education funding or delay education related CIP projects.
