In recognition of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, OCIT will be sharing tips with you all month to help keep your data safe and secure both at home and in the office. In our second week of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, IT is sharing some tips about Phishing that you can use both in-office and at home. Remember, when you are using your county computer you can report Phishing email to the Help Desk safely by clicking on the Phish Alert button in Outlook:

If you do not have the Phish Alert Button, please call the Help Desk at 919-245-2280, Option 1 and we will get it installed for you! Please do not forward suspected phishing email to IT or other staff members, just click on the Phish Alert Button and IT will get the suspect email in our ticket system for further investigation.

Cybersecurity Awareness Month is an international initiative that highlights actions everyone can take to stay safe online. Follow these tips to stay cyber safe!
