Vulnerable Eno Haven Apartments Residents Need Protection!

A new (moved in several months ago) small, petite, pretty, blond haired white female resident named Karen, who lives in Unit 113, told me yesterday, Sunday February 8th, 2026, that she witnessed a frail, small, sweet 92 year old black female resident who lives in Unit 116, being screamed at/yelled at by 59 year old, strong, loud, fast, black resident, Tonya Renee Campbell, in Unit 105, who has bullied, and continues to bully, female residents who are smaller, weaker, slower, older, and disabled. 

Tonya Renee Campbell was permitted by Management, to panhandle; to intimidate, coerce, and harass, residents for MONEY from MANY older, weaker, frail, disabled, mostly female, Low Income Elderly residents! 

Cherrell Thomas, the office manager, has vehemently defended and protected the bully! Cherrell Thomas Victim Blames whomever Tonya Renee Campbell targets! Cherrell Thomas fabricates  unsubstantiated OUTRAGEOUS accusations about the Victim!  Then sends the Victim either an Eviction or Notice of Non-Renewal Letter!

Cherrell Thomas did this to small, frail, disabled 85 year old Leola B Villines, whom Tonya Campbell targeted on May 7th, 2025, and Cherrell Thomas is now doing it to me, age 69, for whom the incessant bullying since May 3rd, 2025, (which I BEGGED on July 5th, 2025, Eno Haven Apartments Management by email, to make it STOP because it was WORSENING the symptoms of my rare brain conditions, and history of stroke) caused me to have a "Recent Stroke--Brain Injury" verified by MRI on December 17th, 2025! 

On November 26th, 2025, Tonya Campbell and Denise Paul, both much younger than me, whom are 3 times my weight and size, HELD ME in a room and prevented me from leaving! Tonya lunged at me, screaming so close to my face that I counted her gold teeth! While Denise Paul held her phone near me, video recording it! There were witnesses. 

I remained CALM, saying "Pardon me, May I get through" several times. They finally allowed me to leave. 

Criminal Charges were filed against the 2, and they were placed on Probation by a Judge on January 22nd, 2026. 

So Cherrell Thomas sent ME, the VICTIM, a Notice of Non-Renewal Letter on December 9th, 2025. FIVE DAYS after the Criminal Charges were filed against Tonya Campbell and Denise Paul! 

Orange County, North Carolina,

the State of North Carolina, the United States Federal government, HUD, the Departments of Aging, need to step in and STOP the ELDER ABUSE that is happening at Eno Haven Apartments in Hillsborough, North Carolina! 

WHY is Tonya Renee Campbell being protected?! WHO is she related to?! WHO does she have "DIRT" on.?!

Is THIS the result of "Continuum of Care"?! 

Despite my recent stroke, God gave me the ability to Advocate for the Vulnerable Residents of Eno Haven Apartments.

Pastor Billy Nicholson, who lives in Unit 119, had a concert in the Eno Haven Apartments Community Room last evening.

"NO-ONE came" said Jimmy Shortell, who lives in Unit 117.  "But Tonya (Campbell) and Denise (Paul) were hanging around down there, "he said"

THIS is the atmosphere now at Eno Haven Apartments.

People are AFRAID of Tonya Campbell! 

Christmas of 2024,  Pastor Billy led carolling throughout Eno Haven Apartments and SO MANY people participated; it was festive and wonderful! 

That was prior to Tonya Campbell targeting little Leola Villines, when she was ALONE in the Lobby. Cherrell Thomas outrageously, and falsely accused this frail 85 year old who has VISIBLE dementia, of "Criminal Activities, Threatening Behavior" as a reason to evict her from her home of about 5 years!

Cherrell Thomas REFUSED 2 witnesses statements! 

Leola said this about the May 7th, 2025, incident in the lobby: "She hit me. She hit me hard! She fought me like a mule!" 

WHY is Tonya Renee Campbell, now age 59, still allowed to live at Eno Haven Apartments, NINE MONTHS later?! 

In addition to the incident of  Falsely Imprisoning me on November 26th, 2025?! 

Where are OUR rights?! 

I keep advocating for myself and the other approximately 70 residents who live at Eno Haven Apartments, most of whom are in their 70's 80's and 90's. 

Why is NO-ONE helping us?

Addendum:

Jan, Eno Haven Apartments tenant in Unit 118, just said to me that she SAW 59 year old tenant Tonya Campbell, Unit 105, YELLING at small, frail, 92 year old tenant, ROSIE, Unit 116, last week in the hallway. She, said "Rosie! ROSIE!" 

She said she SAW Tonya Campbell also YELLING at the new tenant, Karen, in Unit 113.

WHY is Eno Haven Apartments Management allowing this ONE tenant, 59 year old Tonya Renee Campbell, to BULLY smaller, older, weaker female tenants?! 

Tonya Campbell is the REAL THREAT to the health and safety of other Eno Haven Apartments tenants.
