Mr. Hodson,

On behalf of the BOCC, I am sorry this happened to you. There is no place for this type of confrontation in our county.

Chapel Hill police has jurisdiction in that area. Consider calling 911 if this happens again. (I cannot watch the video from work (IT security) and will need to wait until later.)

Sincerely,

Jamezetta Bedford, Chair

Subject: [EXTERNAL MAIL!] Anti-Trump intimidation in Chapel Hill and Orange County

Orange County Board,

Chapel Hill: So Tolerant and Diverse Just had a funny conversation with a "man" who objected to my Trump signs, near the traffic circle at Weaver Dairy and Sage Roads, in Chapel Hill. He drove by once, yelling that I wasn't "wanted here." He then drove by again and blocked traffic to get out of his vehicle and "confront" me. This is standard for Chapel Hill: little boys and girls who think they can intimidate people by storming up to them. Good luck with that if you're dealing with me. Instead of attempting a normal conversation, he tries to intimidate me. See the video, now on YouTube: https://youtu.be/4Mmo3rlhS0U Maybe tone down the rhetoric about Trump being "a threat to democracy."
