Dear Orange County Commissioners,

I am an Orange County resident expressing my support for sustained funding of the Chapel Hill Public Library. It is a vibrant and integral part of the community. Reducing services would be a devastating blow to the many families who depend on it as a no-cost and safe space to access technology, career development and educational resources, as well as high-quality programming. Personally, it is my most valued county resource.

The scheduled public hearings and information sessions have concluded, however there is a Budget Work Session on June 4 where commissioners will discuss and vote on amendments to the County Manager’s Recommended Budget.
