this issue was never resolved and now saying that I owe them over $180. I spoke to Miss Robbins and I still haven’t heard back from her today. I have no water My bathroom is smelling so bad Because there’s no way for me to actually flush it! Can somebody please help I’m disabled with zero active income currently in a SSA appeal.

Dear Hillsborough Utility Billing Supervisor and ADA Compliance Officer,

I am writing to formally request an immediate Emergency Reasonable Accommodation under Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). My name is Christopher Barrett, and I am a disabled resident residing at 200 Cheshire Drive, Apt 15-C, Hillsborough, NC 27278.

My utility account number is 08-155915-002, and I am currently facing an active disconnection deadline for a past-due balance of $55.12. Due to my severe physical disabilities and medical vulnerabilities, which are currently under an active pending SSA appeal, a total loss of water service constitutes an immediate, extreme hazard to my health, safety, and civil rights.

Under ADA Title II, local government municipal entities are required to make reasonable modifications to policies and deadlines to prevent discrimination and protect individuals with documented medical vulnerabilities.

I am formally requesting a temporary 30-day medical extension stay on my account meter and disconnection schedule while my active legal documentation and intake through Legal Aid of North Carolina process through the system.

Please reply immediately to this email to confirm receipt of this formal ADA accommodation request, and to verify that account #08-155915-002 has been placed on an administrative safety hold.
