Support for West Triangle High and rezoning of Lawrence Rd

Good morning,

Thank you for your service on the board. I am a resident of Orange County, NC and live about 5 minutes from Lawrence Rd and U.S. 70. I drive down Lawrence Rd all the time. I also have two children who have attended The Expedition School in Hillsborough. My oldest child will attend Orange High next year. We support all public schools- including charters. 

I attended a zoom meeting with Joey Webb, Founder and ED for West Triangle High. He is an expert on running high schools and will complement our community with his knowledge and ideas on K-12 education. I hope that you review the rezoning application based on the facts and not ideology. Based on my meeting with Mr. Webb, I am confident in his assertion that he will absolutely minimize traffic associated with the high school. This is in the school's and community's best interest. It is not difficult to make an efficient car line and to cooperate with the local neighbors on timing. 

I cannot speak for the rest of the development (baseball fields, etc), but that seems like something that can be worked out as well.
