Call for Submissions for Ohio City Bicycle Co-op's Winter Bike-Art & Fashion Expo!
Submission Deadline: Monday, December 2, 2013, 5:00pm
Event Date: December 7, 2013, 5:30pm-8:30pm
Wanted: original designs of
Distinctive, Innovative Winter Cycling Clothing & Gear
(accessories, equipment, components, vehicles, or concepts)
and other bike-related arts and crafts.
We are welcoming submissions in all media with the primary requirement being that pieces are bike-related, with bonus points for winter-specific items (not that the bonus points matter!). If you've got original clothing or equipment to make biking in the winter easier, safer, more comfortable, or more beautiful, or if you have bike-related art in any media, please let us know by filling out a submission form.
Clothing and bike gear or accessories, etc. will be modeled in an on-bike runway show. If you would like to model your own work, please be sure to indicate that in the space provided on the submission form!
All submitted pieces will be eligible for our silent auction. Proceeds from each auction item will be split; 70% to the artist, 30% to the Co-op to support our educational mission. All submissions may be subject to final approval on the basis of relevance, originality, available space and other criteria.
If you plan to submit a fashion or art item, please complete this form as soon as possible, to help us plan the expo (multiple submissions are welcome: please submit a separate form for each item by clicking "submit another response" after each form). All submissions for display or the runway show are due physically at 1840 Columbus Rd, Cleveland, Ohio 44113 by 5pm Monday, December 2nd.
