USA 13 - Lithuania 1 (first game of double header)

The first double header was another success! We went through only 3
pitchers; Steve pitched 2 innings, Tim pitched 2 innings, and Alex
pitched 1 inning.

The stats are pretty great considering ALL the boys hit left handed
after the 3rd inning. Buddy went 1 for 4; Alex went 1 for 2; Drew,
Anthony, Matt, Steven, and Jordan all went 2 for 3 (Jordan had a
double); and Makoto went 3 for 4.

I mentioned the crab-apples in the last email. Well, I guess the
parents got involved as well. Our boys were having a crab-apple fight
with another team, and the parents collected a huge amount without our
boys knowing. When the boys ran out, our parents attacked the team.
The boys went running...they ran out of places to hide and had to run
in the lake...the parents got a real kick out of it!
