Crazily enough I've already been thinking about another platform to
run ocal-browser on.
http://www.xsmiles.org/index.html
X-Smiles is actually supposed to be a mobile browser. It is written in
java and supports SVG, X-Forms, SMIL, CSS, XSLT, ECMAScript (ala
Rhino) and XHTML. It's an impressive beast on it's own. Add in Jython
and most of the code the Mozilla implementation should work right out
of the box.
