to OCA STL Board
I am forwarding the following document to log in to the membership list. It should be updated automatically when people sign up for the membership. I encourage the board to review the membership list and identify potential board members. Currently we only have 40 members on the list.

Lucy

Lucy, I understand that you really want to collect all the money from all people, and I agree it to the point.

As I explained to Lucy at least 5 times, here are the effort that I made to give you a better perspective.

I promoted and announced OCA STL at every MAAP program, along with asking them to join and pay. I even explained to students that it would be more economic to join OCA.

Especially, at the last MAAP session in November, I repeated the same message at the beginning and at the end, and I even added this to the Power Point that I prepared for MAAP -- Lucy may miss all this, because Lucy missed 2 out of 3 MAAP programs.

As I explained this several times in the past, it does not reflect good on OCA STL if we look desperate, or try to come after some people for payment after a few month later. If you want to collect you should have done it then. It probably is not a good idea to come after someone a few month later.

As you all know, I spend so much time to prepare, organize and facilitate for more than 3 months, and we had so many people satisfied with the program in the end. But for Lucy's point, it was impossible for me to do a setup and standing on the front door to collect the payment at the same time at every session. If someone is so concerned about the payment, then the person should be at the event to handle it.

For 2019, I will not be in charge of MAAP program if this continues. This has been a demoralizing experience. We need to put the past behind, and look and move forward. This is a voluntary working board, and we have a lot to do without getting bogged down small details from the past.

Thank you.

Han.
